College of African Wildlife Management, Mweka (CAWM) is a leading center for research and training in wildlife and tourism management. We equip you with a well-rounded training and professional expertise for all the challenges in the industry.

At CAWM, you can choose from a range of thirteen (13) undergraduate and graduate programs and blended short courses that suits your needs. You can even design your own program. We conduct research and offer courses and programmes in six subject areas; animal behavior; avifauna ecology, interaction and management; ecological interaction in tropical forest and savanna ecosystems; human wildlife interface, natural resources management and governance; law enforcement and criminology in conservation; and tourism management.

As a student your college experience will take you far beyond the classroom. You will get both the theoretical and practical knowledge as well as visit the world’s famous national parks during practical training and interact with different stakeholders in wildlife and tourism industry. Exceptional location, CAWM is strategically located in Northern Tanzania on the southern slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro and approximately 60km from Kilimanjaro International Airport which is near to the world-famous protected areas (Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Serengeti and Manyara).
