Tropical Ecology & Conservation Training for Brigham Young University Students

Brigham Young University students participated in a mammal identification training session on May 16, 2024, hosted at the College of African Wildlife Management, Mweka, as an integral component of their short course program. This session provided an immersive exploration into the diverse spectrum of mammalian species, equipping attendees with essential skills to identify mammalian species in the field based on distinctive traits and behaviors. Additionally, paramount attention was directed towards underscoring the pivotal role of conservation initiatives in preserving the rich biodiversity of Africa's wildlife.
