Course Description
This course is designed to practically train students in core, contemporary and emerging Tourism Management issues for them to become leaders in tourism management. As such it will equip them with the Tourism knowledge, skills and practices necessary for managing tourism in the current world. The course will thus expose the students to the best practice expertise, opportunities, experiences and support to allow them fully participate in fostering the tourism industry. Its practical nature will ensure they are not only exposed to the ground practicalities of tourism management, but also that they forge linkages with the various key players in the industry, including the government, private sector and the academia.

Entry Requirements
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 at a bachelor degree or advanced diploma in hospitality and tourism studies, business studies, wildlife management, natural resources, environmental studies, geography, heritage management
- Holders of postgraduate diploma in tourism management, wildlife management, natural resources, environmental studies, geography, heritage management
- A candidate with a GPA of less than 3.0 but with current/past employment for not less than three years OR research experience for in the hospitality and tourism industry, business, wildlife management, natural resources, environmental studies, geography, heritage management OR published at least one paper in a reputable publication outlet
